Steelers stay among the least traveled in the NFL in 2026
Even with a trip to France for a game this season, the Steelers are still among the least traveled in the NFL.
Traditionally, the Pittsburgh Steelers benefit from doing the least amount of traveling for games during the NFL season. The 2026 NFL regular season will be released but we already know each team's upcoming road and away opponents. On Thursday, the international schedule was released and that was the information needed to properly calculate total mileage traveled and even with a trip to France, the Steelers will still travel the seventh-least in the NFL this season.
Last season, the Steelers saw a bump in miles traveled with 15,062, but are down this season with only 14,183. This is nothing compared to the San Francisco 49ers, who will travel a mind-numbing 38,105 miles this season, but pales in comparison to the Carolina Panthers, who will only travel 8,740 miles this season.
