Darren Till Thinks He’d Beat Sean Strickland Photo by Cooper Neill/Zuffa LLC During his time in the UFC, Darren Till trained alongside Khamzat Chimaev, and the two developed a strong friendship. Before UFC 328, Till naturally backed Chimaev to retain his middleweight title but didn’t shy away from acknowledging Strickland as a tough opponent. But after seeing how things played out in the main event, he seemed pretty convinced that his best version would have what it takes to beat Strickland.

Speaking on a live stream with Kick. com, Till said: “I look at Sean Strickland now, he’s just beat Khamzat. I know for a fact me 100 per cent healthy I take him out.

I know I would. Everyone even says it. It’s easy for me to say it, he’s the champion, but I trust in my skill set.
