Indianapolis 500 Is Sold Out For Second Straight Year

The 110th Indianapolis 500 was announced as a sellout, marking the second-straight year the Indy 500 is sold out and the third time since 2016 with 350,000 fans expected.

Also, the television blackout for Central Indiana has been lifted for just the fourth time in the famed history of the race.

This year’s sellout is the second straight for the Indianapolis 500 and the third time since 2016. Last year’s grandstand sellout crowd was the first since the legendary 100th edition of the race in 2016. That announcement was made on May 20, 2025.

The final reserved seat tickets will be sold today. In addition, reserved seat tickets will continue to be available on the IMS Official Resale Marketplace through Wednesday, May 20 at 4 p. m.
