”This is a very specific ask for a very specific reason. Kirk Cousins will probably begin the season as Las Vegas' QB1, but at some point, fans will inevitably call for Fernando Menzoda. A home game against a weak opponent fresh off a bye week would be the ideal time to make such a change.
” The Titans are a young team that will need to forge continuity with second-year quarterback Cam Ward leading a new-look offense that also includes wide receivers Wan’Dale Robinson and rookie Carnell Tate. Tennessee improved their defense with the additions of John Franklin-Myers, Jermaine Johnson and Cor’Dale Flott in the open market, but have much to prove as a team with playoff potential. In the event that Cousins wins the starting quarterback job over Mendoza to begin next season, Tennessee will be one of the easiest opponents that Las Vegas has the potential to face immediately following the bye week.
However, Tennessee will still be a tougher challenge than their record from last season suggests. The Raiders have even weaker opponents that they are slated to face, such as the New York Jets and the New Orleans Saints , making a matchup against the Titans after the bye week one that has its advantages and downsides.
