twitter. com/QRny9SN4wm — Maryland Men’s Basketball (@TerrapinHoops) May 12, 2026 The Terps struggled mightily in conference play, finishing second-to-last with a 4-16 record record against Big Ten opponents in the 2025-26 season. While the strength of its conference was on full display in the NCAA Tournament, Maryland’s roster was simply outmatched by more physically dominant teams.
But heading into the 2026-27 campaign, the Terps look to capitalize on their revamped roster. Maryland will get to play Indiana, Michigan State and Rutgers multiple times, all teams that it lost to last season. This will mark the second straight season the Terps will face the Scarlet Knights twice, giving the two squads a thorough rematch after Rutgers swept last season’s series.
