Republic of Ireland Under-21s striker Adrien Thibaut has signed a new two-year contract with Crewe Alexandra. His new agreement includes an option for a further 12 months. The forward started out at Cobh Ramblers in the League of Ireland in 2022 and Crewe then spotted him playing for Bradford Park Avenue in the Northern Premier League East Division following an unsuccessful spell at Macclesfield Town.

Thibaut scored on his Alex debut against Liverpool Under-21s in the Vertu Trophy in August 2024 and he claimed two goals in his first season in League Two. He scored four goals on loan for Southport in the National League North between October and December last year as well as four for Crewe. Thibaut, 21, has clocked up 49 first-team appearances for Alex, scoring six goals and recording four assists.
