During his press conference on Tuesday, Perez confirmed that Real Madrid are working on a detailed dossier focused on refereeing and VAR decisions that the club believes have seriously damaged their league campaign. According to the president, the report includes a 500-page document alongside video footage highlighting incidents that Madrid feel have cost them as many as 16 points in La Liga this season.
This is quite concerning as we must take into account that Barcelona, the La Liga champions, have a 14-point lead over Real Madrid. Of the 14 VAR interventions involving Madrid this season, 11 decisions went against them, while only three favoured them.
