Seven explosive incidents Real Madrid plan to include in their 500-page dossier Real Madrid are preparing to take their complaints regarding refereeing decisions to UEFA after club president Florentino Perez revealed that the club has been gathering evidence throughout the season. During his press conference on Tuesday, Perez confirmed that Real Madrid are working on a detailed dossier focused on refereeing and VAR decisions that the club believes have seriously damaged their league campaign. According to the president, the report includes a 500-page document alongside video footage highlighting incidents that Madrid feel have cost them as many as 16 points in La Liga this season.

This is quite concerning as we must take into account that Barcelona, the La Liga champions, have a 14-point lead over Real Madrid. Statistics published by AS appear to support the clubโ€™s frustration. With only three league matches remaining, Real Madrid are the team most negatively affected by VAR reviews in the division.

Of the 14 VAR interventions involving Madrid this season, 11 decisions went against them, while only three favoured them. In that context, several matches have now been identified by the club as examples of controversial officiating. A look at the incidents One of the earliest incidents came against Rayo Vallecano in a frustrating goalless draw on Matchday 12 .

Madrid believed they should have received three penalties during the match, including appeals involving Jude Bellingham, Arda Guler and Kylian Mbappe. The clash against Girona on Matchday 14 also generated anger within the club. Many decisions have gone agianst Real Madrid this season.

Another controversial night arrived against Celta de Vigo on Matchday 15 . Madrid felt Borja Iglesias should have been sent off after an elbow on Bellingham, while further complaints emerged over penalty appeals and multiple dismissals involving Fran Garcia, Alvaro Carreras and Endrick.
