They might not be at the same level as the Los Angeles Dodgers anymore, but the Yankees are still a marquee franchise and are typically willing to hand out just as much money as anybody in the world. Interestingly enough, some believe Aaron Judge's recent comments about his Team USA teammate at the 2026 World Baseball Classic could be an indication of what's to come.
With the possibility of Jazz Chisholm Jr. leaving in free agency this offseason, Anthony Volpe not having much of a future in New York, and other factors, it would make a lot of sense for the Yankees to go after somebody like Brice Turang of the Milwaukee Brewers . The question is whether that's a realistic possibility, though there seems to be a feeling that it is.
