Schwarber took Boston Red Sox opener Jovani Morán deep in his first at-bat of the game in the top of the first, immediately extending his home run streak to five games and giving the Phillies a quick 1-0 lead in their eventual 2-1 victory. The dinger was Schwarber's seventh in 27 career games at Fenway and his sixth in 13 career games against the Red Sox. It was also his 17th of the season, breaking a tie with Aaron Judge for the Major League lead.
