The New York Yankees ' decision to option Anthony Volpe to Triple-A, it definitely raised some questions about his future in the organization.

Volpe has been one of the more polarizing players on the Yankees and, frankly, hasn't deserved to be on the big league roster. There's a reason the Yankees made this decision, even if they didn't do so in the past. Interestingly enough, the Yankees brought him up, as Jose Caballero is dealing with a finger injury.

“José Caballero is dealing with a banged-up middle finger on his right hand. Hurt it sliding back to the base yesterday,” Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News posted on X. “He’s gotten treatment.
