The 2026 NFL Draft is in the rearview mirror. Now, it's all about the 2026 NFL schedule. The NFL revealed last week that the 2026 schedule would be officially released this Thursday, May 14.
Last year, the Washington Commanders were coming off a 12-5 season and reached the NFC Championship Game for the first time in 33 years. So, with a young superstar at quarterback in Jayden Daniels, it was apparent that the Commanders would be heavily featured in prime-time games. That was true, as Washington had five prime-time games and eight standalone games, including on Christmas Day.
Unfortunately, the Commanders were crushed by injuries and finished 5-12. How many times will Washington be featured in 2026? We shall see.
