A native of St. Louis, Gardner attended Whitfield High School where she was a four year starter and three time All-State Goalkeeper of the Year. Whitfield won the state championship, 3-0, over St.
Pius X (Festus) in 2022. With St. Louis Scott Gallagher in the Elite Club National League, she tallied a pair of national titles.
