Francisco Alvarez was removed from tonight's game with a right knee injury. He will undergo imaging tomorrow. — New York Mets (@Mets) May 13, 2026 MORE: MLB's 3-inning save rule is trending Alvarez missed a lot of the 2025 season with injury (and also spent time in Triple-A due to ineffectiveness), so the Mets have been here before.
