The emphatic win not only strengthened Gujarat Titans’ playoff chances but also gave a significant boost to their net run rate during the crucial final phase of the league stage. Led by Shubman Gill, Gujarat Titans have now played 12 matches, winning eight and losing four.
They currently sit at the top of the standings with 16 points and a healthy net run rate of +0. 551. Sunrisers Hyderabad, meanwhile, slipped to third place following the heavy defeat.
