Detroit Lions sign 2026 draft picks, 9 UDFAs—reveal jersey numbers

Earlier in the day, we reported—along with baseline contract terms—that the Lions had signed everyone but first-round pick Blake Miller.

Now Miller joins the other six picks under contract, completing the painless process of inking the draft class. In addition to signing the draft class, the Lions also announced the signing of nine undrafted rookies, all of whom were initially reported after the draft, as seen in this year’s UDFA tracker. As a reminder, the nine players are: QB Luke Altmyer, Illinois TE Miles Kitselman, Tennessee G Melvin Priestly, Illinois EDGE Eric O’Neill, Rutgers EDGE Anthony Lucas, USC DT Aidan Keanaaina, Cal LB Erick Hunter, Morgan State CB De’Shawn Rucker, USF DB Aamaris Brown, UNLV We’ll have more on the profiles of each UDFA later on.

Detroit also announced the jersey numbers of this year’s rookie class. Players often change after roster cuts happen in August and September.
