Ravens' upcoming offseason schedule with OTAs looming
The Baltimore Ravens will soon transition into organized team activities and mandatory minicamp as preparations for the 2026 season continue.
While fans, prognosticators, and experts await the highly anticipated NFL schedule release, the Baltimore Ravens have officially moved beyond rookie minicamp and will now shift their focus to the next major stage of the offseason program. With the NFL draft complete and the rookie class now introduced to the organization, Baltimore's attention turns toward organized team activities (OTAs), which are scheduled to begin on May 18. The coming weeks will offer one of the first extended opportunities for the coaching staff to evaluate the full roster together under the new head coach, Jesse Minter.
The Ravens have already been progressing through the NFL's structured three-phase offseason program. Phase One consisted of the first two weeks and focused strictly on meetings, strength and conditioning work, and physical rehabilitation. During this period, players were not permitted to participate in on-field football activities.
Phase Two then introduced on-field workouts and instruction over the following three weeks. Coaches were allowed to conduct individual drills and group teaching sessions while continuing to build foundational concepts on both sides of the ball. Now, Baltimore enters Phase Three, which includes organized team activities over a four-week span.
While live contact remains prohibited, Jesse Minter's team is allowed to conduct 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and 11-on-11 drills, giving OC Declan Doyle and DC Anthony Weaver their clearest look yet at scheme implementation, chemistry, communication, and positional competitions. The Ravens' OTA schedule is as follows: May 18-19 May 21 May 26-28 June 1-2 June 4 Following OTAs, Baltimore will then hold a mandatory minicamp from June 9-11 before players eventually break for the summer ahead of training camp. This offseason carries significant intrigue for the Ravens because of the amount of transition taking place throughout the organization.
