Caleb Wilson draws lofty comparisons to NBA legends from Jay Williams

ESPN analyst Jay Williams has extremely high expectations for Caleb Wilson's NBA potential.

Jay Williams may be a former Duke Blue Devil , but he's showering praise on North Carolina forward Caleb Wilson. Wilson is expected to be amongst the first few players selected in next month's NBA draft, but Williams believes that Wilson has the chance to be the best player in this year's class. "Now when I watch (Wilson) play, the bar seems like Kevin Garnett, and the ceiling seems more like Giannis," Williams told Mike Greenberg on Get Up.

The former Duke point guard prefaced the statement by saying that he initially thought the floor for Wilson was a Jermaine O'Neal-type player and the ceiling was Kevin Garnett, but revised his thinking this spring when he saw Wilson's ability to handle the ball. Wilson averaged 19 points and nine rebounds per game for North Carolina in his freshman season, which was limited to 24 games due to a broken thumb.
