Purdue basketball takes on road challenges as Big Ten announces pairings

Purdue men’s basketball knows not to assume anything based on the home and away distribution of their Big Ten Conference games. Last season, the Boilermakers appeared to catch a break when contenders Illinois, Michigan and Michigan State all came to Mackey Arena for their lone games . That advantage disappeared when all three won on Keady Court.
Per the home-away pairings announced Tuesday, the road to a conference championship appears to be even tougher this season. Dates, times and television assignments will be announced later.
