Longhorns football offers top 2028 linebacker recruit Nehemiah McCary
Nehemiah McCary is drawing the interest of an SEC powerhouse. The Texas Longhorns have offered the No. 1 linebacker in the 2028 recruiting class.
While the start of the 2028 college football season is over a year away, the Texas Longhorns have been busy building for their future. On Monday they extended an offer to the top linebacker on the market in Nehemiah McCary. The four-star recruit has been a popular prospect and the Longhorns are making sure they make their interest clear early on.
Currently, the Longhorns target is ranked as the best player from Alabama in his class by 247Sports . They also rank the Maplesville High star as the 27th best payer in the nation. Due to his pedigree, McCary has drawn the interest of elite programs nationwide.
