Auburn basketball announced Tuesday it'd be playing Wisconsin as part of its upcoming nonconference slate, squaring off with the Badgers in Nashville.

AUBURN — Steven Pearl will lead Auburn basketball up to Nashville before the SEC Tournament next season, as the program announced Tuesday, May 12, it'd play Wisconsin this coming season, facing the Badgers on Dec. 19 at Bridgestone Arena. It factors into a 2026-27 nonconference schedule that's already taken shape, as the Tigers will return to the Players Era Festival in Las Vegas.

They're also poised to play the back half of a home-and-home against Arizona, and they'll once again take part in the ACC/SEC Challenge. They'll come to the Music City in Year 11 under head coach Greg Gard, who's led them to seven NCAA Tournament appearances.

Auburn's set to return one of the most-experienced back courts in the country next year, with Tahaad Pettiford and Kevin Overton coming back after helping the Tigers salvage their first season under Pearl, winning their final five games and an NIT championship after missing out on March Madness.
