Did the Atlanta Hawks have interest in Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown as a potential trade target? The Georgia native has found himself at the center of several competing trade narratives at the start of the 2026 NBA offseason for Boston in what has become something of an annual tradition. On top of the rumbles potentially connecting Brown to rumors of a Giannis Antetokounmpo swap with the Milwaukee Bucks , there have been rumbles his hometown Hawks also had a level of interest in trading for the Cal alum recently.
The key word here, however, very well could be "did," given how well Atlanta ended up playing down the stretch run of the 2025-26 NBA regular season. Could Atlanta still have eyes for Brown? Or have they moved on to another version of their future selves?
The folks behind the "WEEI Boston Sports Original" YouTube channel put together a clip from their "Greg Hill Show" that takes a closer look at this dynamic. Check it out below! Listen to "Havlicek Stole the Pod" on: Blue Wire: https://tiny.
