He's got a massive cap hit coming the next two seasons, and 2026 and 2027 are also the last two seasons of his current contract. So not only would the Ravens probably like to get some of that salary restructured. They'd also probably like to get their franchise QB to sign a longer-term deal.

"Baltimore is looking to extend Jackson because he has two years remaining on his contract," ESPN's Jamison Hensley wrote in a new article. "His salary cap hit jumps to $84. 34 million next offseason, which is the second highest in the NFL and will account for 26% of Baltimore's 2027 cap.
