Nebraska making active recruiting pitch for Georgia tight end
Nebraska football is trying to make a strong impression on class of 2027 Georgia tight end Joey Hunter.
Nebraska football is busy extending offers to recruits in the class of 2027. They recently showed interest in tight end Joey Hunter, whose recruitment has continued to rise. Hunter measures in at six-foot-six, 255 pounds.
He was most recently offered by the Huskers on Friday. He has a busy visit schedule, as he will be visiting Georgia Tech from May 29-31. He then has a month of June that includes NC State June 5-7, Pitt June 11-13, West Virginia June 14-15, and Syracuse June 19-21.
The playmaker could potentially visit the Huskers as soon as next weekend, according to a report from Rivalsโ Tim Verghese. The 2027 Huskers recruiting class ranks 15th overall in the country per the Rivals Team Rankings. Hunter could be a solid addition to a class that has several offensive stars.
The first visit is going to be important; it will give the program a chance to make its initial recruiting pitch. #AG2G ๐๐พ Iโm Grateful to announce that Iโve received a Division 1 offer from the University of Nebraskaโผ๏ธ #GNR ๐ฝ @s_kwilli32 #4theG @grayson_fb @CoachCarswell @Coach_AMHill @CoachBeas @LegacyExtreme1 @CoachStro84 @NxgnCamps @TomLoy247 @RecruitGeorgia @GwinnettRecruit @247Sports โฆ pic. twitter.
