2027 NFL draft: 6 QBs could go in 1st round
The Arizona Cardinals will likely be paying attention to the draft-eligible QB during the 2027 college football season.
The Arizona Cardinals aren't expected to be very good in 2026, and they don't appear to have a franchise quarterback on their roster. As such, most are looking ahead to the 2027 draft class and the quarterbacks that could come out. Right now, it appears to be a promising crop of quarterbacks.
In fact, Draft Wire's Paul M. Banks believes as many as six quarterbacks could be selected in the first round, something we haven't seen since 1983. Who are they?
Arch Manning, Texas Dante Moore, Oregon Jayden Maiava, USC Darien Mensah, Miami CJ Carr, Notre Dame Drew Mestemaker, Oklahoma State Manning is the name almost everyone knows, and he has the traits and bloodlines to be a star in 2027. The Cardinals are projected to be the worst team in the NFL. If that holds true, they will have their pick of all the quarterbacks to select in the first round.
We will certainly be keeping an eye on the play of the top college QBs when the college football season comes around.
