One thing that hasn't happened, though, is a De'Von Achane trade. It seemed like the kind of thing that could be coming, and there have been all sorts of rumors involving Achane's name. But at this point, Achane hasn't been dealt, and it may not be coming, either.

This is because of how the Dolphins view Achane, according to ESPN's Dan Graziano . "Talking to Dolphins people throughout this offseason, what I've been told is that the team views Achane, center Aaron Brewer and linebacker Jordyn Brooks, as foundational players and candidates for extensions rather than trades," Graziano wrote in a new article on Tuesday.
"Miami is focused on the future, for sure, but new coach Jeff Hafley and new GM Jon-Eric Sullivan aren't interested in just white-flagging their first season by stripping things all the way down to the studs. Also, they need some players to build around, and they have identified Achane as one worth keeping long term. " There aren't a ton of teams that view the RB position like this, but Miami clearly feels strongly about Achane.
