Wisconsin loses four-star offensive tackle battle to Big Ten rival
The Wisconsin Badgers have once again missed out on a key out-of-state recruit. Back on April 16 , blue-chip offensive tackle Cameron Wagner announced Wisconsin was a finalist. The Badgers were stuck competing against Oregon, Notre Dame, and Illinois, so they knew their work was cut out for them.
Notre Dame just so happens to be the Badgers' Week 1 opponent this season, while Illinois is Wagner's hometown team. Ultimately, the 6-foot-7, 300-pound left tackle went on the Pat McAfee Show to announce his commitment to Oregon. Dan Lanning's class of 2027 keeps getting better.
The Ducks already had a top 10 class , as they've managed to add another four-star recruit to the mix.
