The young wide receiver is the son of Jerry Rice, the all-time great wideout. Brenden, though, is no longer a member of the Raiders. They announced Monday that Brenden Rice has been cut from the roster as they churn through other options this offseason.
The Raiders had signed Rice to a futures contract in January. Rice spent a portion of the 2025 season on the New England Patriots ' practice squad, but he has yet to catch a regular season NFL pass. He had previously spent the summer of 2025 with the Los Angeles Chargers .
