The NBA did what the NBA does and protected a young star, electing to ignore Wemby throwing an elbow that could have seriously injured Naz Reid, and deciding the act did not warrant any further consequences.
I’m not a Spurs hater and I have nothing against Wemby, but this was one of the most dangerous non-basketball acts I’ve seen on a court. You can seriously injure someone by forcefully elbowing them right in the throat. And the NBA doesn’t even think he deserves a fine?
