Kentucky Wildcats News: Franck Kepnang cleared, while Malachi Moreno decision looms
Will we see Franck Kepnang and Malachi Moreno team up in Lexington?

We all expected an addition for a backup center, but little did we know it would progress as fast as it did with the addition of Washington transfer Franck Kepnang. Heading into his seventh season of college basketball, Kepnang has had several seasons cut short due to injury, with a waiver needed to play in Lexington next season. Well, that waiver was granted on Monday, meaning he will suit up for the Cats next season.
It comes as welcome news, as now things seem to be fairly iffy in the Malachi Moreno NBA Draft decision. With some workouts already completed, Morenoโs stock seems to be trending in the right direction as he creeps into late first round territory. Now with him sitting out 5 v 5โs in Chicago at the Draft Combine, it appears we will be creeping up on that decision sooner rather than later.
Rolling into the season without Moreno would be a major gut punch. Letโs hope we get to see him rocking the blue and white for Kentucky next season. Tweet of the Day This was fun!
