West Texas athletes compete at UIL state track and field meet
West Texas high school athletes are heading to Austin for the UIL State Track and Field Meet. See the full schedule.
The University Interscolastic League State Track and Field Meet at Mike A. Meyers Stadium in Austin will start on Thursday, May 14, and end on Saturday, May 16. After a long high school track and field season, the top athletes from Class 1A-6A will gather at the University of Texas campus to compete for gold, and there are plenty of West Texas athletes representing their schools and the area.
More: Mason girls golf team wins fifth straight state title Class 4A and 3A will compete in their events on Thursday, 5A and 2A will be on Friday and 6A and 1A will round out the event on Saturday. Unlike earlier track and field meets this season, which had a rolling schedule, there will be a set schedule for when each event will take place.
