🚨 Reports: Book's first signing! BVB land teenager for €20m The first transfer under new sporting director Ole Book appears to be all but done. BVB are apparently on the verge of signing 19-year-old Joane Gadou.
That is according to Sky reporter Florian Plettenberg. The RB Salzburg youngster has already announced his departure on his Instagram account. Gadou is expected to move for a base fee of around €20 million — with bonus payments potentially pushing that figure even higher!
The centre-back was still under contract at Salzburg until 2029 and was developed in PSG’s youth academy. In the Austrian Bundesliga, the talent made 40 appearances. Gadou has also already featured in the Champions League qualifiers.
So Book’s first transfer immediately sets a benchmark.
