Minnesota Twins' Series vs. Guardians Draws 'Hilarious' Admission
The Twins and Guardians went head-to-head this past weekend.
The Minnesota Twins earned a 2-1 series victory against the Cleveland Guardians this past weekend. The games were quite competitive, as they were all separated by two runs or less. Cleveland began the series with a win, earning a 6-4 victory on Friday.
On Saturday, the Twins bounced back with a 2-1 win. Minnesota then won again 5-4 on Sunday. For the Twins, it was a good series.
The ball club is trying to find consistency and their performance against Cleveland was a step in the right direction. Former player Trevor Plouffe shared an honest take on the series while speaking on Talkin' Baseball. "Twins-Guards is just a hilarious series," Plouffe said.
He continued by saying the Twins should not have won the second game of the series. He felt that the teams having three hits total before extra innings was hilarious. The offenses were certainly not at their best on Saturday night in Cleveland.
