The 6-foot-4, 205-pound junior at Santa Monica Preparatory chose the Lobos over additional offers from Arizona State, UNLV, Washington State, Colorado State and Boston College.
He received an offer from UNM in early March before taking an official visit in April. Cassier is the second three-star prospect to commit to UNM out of the class of 2027. The Lobos previously received a pledge from Tayven Collins, a three-star safety from Pullayup, Washington, in January.
