Saints sign son of WWE Hall of Famer after rookie minicamp tryout

After impressing during his rookie minicamp tryout, Brock Rechsteiner signed with the New Orleans Saints for a longer look at training camp.

The New Orleans Saints signed an invitee from their rookie minicamp over the weekend in undrafted wide receiver Brock Rechsteiner, as first reported by Nick Underhill of NewOrleans. Football . Rechsteiner is the latest rookie to be added to the New Orleans receiver room, joining first-round draft choice Jordyn Tyson, fourth-round pick Bryce Lance, and sixth rounder Barion Brown.

Brock Rechsteiner is most famously the son of Scott Steiner, a WWE and WCW superstar through the 1980s and 1990s. Scott and brother Rick of the ''Steiner Brothers'' tag team duo were each inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2022. Brock played football with the Jacksonville State Gamecocks in Conference USA for the last three seasons.

Over three years at Jacksonville State, Rechsteiner caught 53 passes for 629 yards and 7 touchdowns. The 2025 campaign was his best, with 36 receptions for 383 yards and a team-best 5 scores. He also adds value as a physical run blocker and on special teams on kick coverage.

Listed at 6-foot, 1 inch and 222 pounds, Rechsteiner has also posted an impressive 4. 48 time in the 40. After going undrafted, he had an initial tryout with the Tennessee Titans before getting a second opportunity with the Saints this past weekend.
