The Indianapolis Colts agreed that young quarterback Anthony Richardson could seek a move away if the right trade partner was found.
But it wasn't, and in truth, there are reports that there weren't that many suitors for Richardson either, which tells us a lot. No one wanted to take a flyer on him to see what they could get out of the young prospect. And for Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer, he's given his thoughts on Richardson's current situation, and it doesn't bode well, at least in the short-term, for Anthony.
"I donโt have a ton of hope for Anthony Richardson Sr. , if weโre being honest," Breer wrote . "But I do think remaining with the Colts for now does create an opportunity he wouldnโt have elsewhere to get first-team reps as Daniel Jones makes his way back from Achilles surgery.
