George puts her name in Caddo Mills history books
Coming into this season, only two girls from Caddo Mills High School had advanced to the state tournament tt in tennis. Kinzli George re-wrote the history books last week with a trip to the UIL Class 4A state tennis meet in San Antonio. George officially punched her ticket to the state tournament back on April 20 by advancing to the Class 4A Region II girls singles championship.

George finished as runner-up in her regional championship match, taking home the silver medal and setting her sights on the state tournament. George’ traveled to San Antonio for the state tournament with her first match last Thursday against Alexandra Gomez of Travis High School. The two battle through a marathon matchup that lasted three hours.
Unfortunately for George, that would be where he season came to an end as she narrowly lost to Gomez in three sets.
