Angels’ Logan O’Hoppe Starting Rehab Assignment Amid Wrist Injury

Los Angeles Angels catcher Logan O’Hoppe is starting a rehab assignment with the ACL Angels, the team announced on Monday. O’Hoppe has been out with a fractured left wrist since April 25. O’Hoppe was with the Angels during their road series against the Toronto Blue Jays over the weekend.

He reportedly hit on the field on Friday and Saturday, caught off of a machine and ran the bases. “I’m excited about that,” Angels manager Kurt Suzuki said, per MLB . “I’m excited to see Logan get back into it again.

I know he’s excited — he came up to me and told me that. He said, ‘I’m going to be back soon and ready to go. ’ So that’s exciting.
