The Miami Marlins recently parted ways with Chris Paddack, who had a 7. 63 ERA this year but has been reliable in the past. The Marlins signed him for $4 million before the year, so he was a decently regarded free agent.
The Athletic's Mitch Bannon suggested Paddack as a logical target: Wouldn't expect a massive move from the #BlueJays , if they do go outside the org. Bigtime SPs just aren't often moved in early May. One name to consider is Chris Paddack, recently released by the Marlins.
