MLB added Anthony Eyanson to the list at No. 97 after Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Andrew Painter lost prospect eligibility. The 21-year-old pitcher joins Franklin Arias (No.
21) and Kyson Witherspoon (No. 67) as Boston's top-100 representatives. Discussing Eyanson's ascension Saturday on MLB Network, MLB Pipeline scout Sam Dykstra compared the right-hander's rapid climb to another Red Sox pitcher who graduated from prospect rankings.
"He's on that Payton Tolle path," Dykstra said. Eyanson has turned heads with a dominant start to the 2026 campaign. The former LSU star earned a promotion to Double-A Portland by allowing one run in five starts at High-A Greenville.
