The Denver Broncos are signing Henderson State cornerback Paul Manning following his tryout at rookie minicamp over the weekend, according to a report from KUSA-TV's Mike Klis . Manning (6-1, 192 pounds) played high school football in West Monroe, Louisiana, before committing to play college football with the Reddies (Division II) in Arkansas. He totaled 51 tackles, 16 pass breakups, three interceptions (including one pick-six), two forced fumbles, 1.
5 sacks and one fumble recovery in four years (32 games) at Henderson State. Manning joins a deep cornerback room that already featured Pat Surtain, Riley Moss, Ja’Quan McMillian, Jahdae Barron and Kris Abrams-Draine, among others. Manning is the second known tryout player to be signed following rookie camp, joining veteran wide receiver Mike Woods .
