Florida football sets official visit with Rivals100 RB Keldric Ben
Florida will host Rivals100 running back Keldric Ben for an official visit as Jon Sumrall and the Gators continue building momentum in the 2027 cycle.
Four-star running back Kendric Ben committed to the Oklahoma Sooners back in December 2025, but has since reopened recruitment and is expected to make an official visit with the Florida Gators on May 28-30. Jon Sumrall and the Florida staff now have an opportunity to make a major impression on the Montgomery, Texas, native. Ranked as one of the nation's top running backs, Ben is regarded as a premier playmaker in the 2027 cycle.
The 5-foot-10-inch, 208-pound running back possesses a rare combination of explosiveness, vision and aggressive running style. Ben completed his 11-game junior season with 1,560 yards and 15 touchdowns while averaging 10. 3 yards per carry.
In addition to his rushing contributions, Ben hauled in 16 passes for 299 yards and three scores. Landing an official visit with Ben at this stage in the process is a promising sign for the Gators. This also denotes that Florida is a serious contender in recruiting battles across SEC territory for top-tier prospects.
Ben's visit comes as Florida rides a wave of momentum that has dominated headlines in recent weeks. The Gators 2027 recruiting class is currently slated No. 7 in Rivals' team rankings after signing five-star offensive lineman Maxwell Hiller back in April and most recently landing four-star running back Andrew Beard last week.
