Florida State working to land key quarterback target soon
Florida State has shifted their focus when it comes to the quarterback position, and they're trying to land three-star Logan Flaherty immediately.
Florida State was forced to shift their focus at the quarterback position when four-star Wonderful Monds committed to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish . It put three-star recruit Logan Flaherty to the front of the line. According to Matt LaSerre of Warchant , there's a new development in FSU's effort to land the 6-foot-3, 185-pounder.
They're pushing to get a pledge very soon. Florida State quarterbacks coach Austin Tucker made the trip down to Port Charlotte to visit Flaherty two weeks ago, and a source close to the recruitment told Warchant that Mike Norvell was on the phone with Flaherty on Sunday night. All indications are that the Seminoles are trying to lock in Flaherty’s commitment this week, if possible.
Flaherty is the No. 599 overall player in the 2027 recruiting cycle nationally and the No. 39 quarterback per Rivals' industry rankings.
He's the No. 60 prospect in the state of Florida as well. On his last visit to Tallahassee, Flaherty spoke very highly of Florida State.
