However, just weeks later, Aubrey's contract with Dallas has been matched, as another star kicker has landed a lucrative extension with their team.
Chris Boswell matches Aubrey's contract in Steelers extension ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Monday that the Steelers are signing kicker Chris Boswell to the same contract Aubtey received from the Cowboys. It's a four-year deal worth $28 million, with $7 million annually for Boswell. "Steelers have agreed to terms with K Chris Boswell on a four-year, $28 million extension.

Boswell is now locked in with the Steelers through the 2030 season," Schefter reported. Boswell has been the Steelers' kicker since 2015 and has been getting better and better with age.
