Joe Pyfer doesn’t want to fight in his hometown if he is not in the main or co-main event. The UFC returns to Philly with UFC 330 on August 15 at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Pyfer (16-3) was born in Philadelphia and has trained there at Balance Studios to this day.

Coming off a huge win in the main event of UFC Seattle against Israel Adesanya , Pyfer expects to be the main event in his hometown. However, rumors are circulating that Islam Makhachev could put his welterweight title on the line against Ian Garry in the main event at UFC 330. Pyfer says he doesn’t even want to be on the card if he is not in the main event.
