m. Thursday. Naiovi Arredondo, Indian Hills The sophomore starred in a 34-0 upset of Jefferson (3 TD catches, 9 flag pulls), which kept alive the Braves’ division-title hopes.
In two games, Arredondo had 7 touchdowns on 12 receptions, totaling 277 yards through the air (23. 1 per catch). Sabrina King, Wayne Valley The junior RB/DB scored all three touchdowns in the Indians’ 20-14 win over Secaucus in the Wallington “Tackle Kids Cancer” showcase – two rushing, one interception return.
In three games, King ran 38 times for 358 yards and 3 TDs and totaled 16 flag pulls. Emma Marnik, Lyndhurst The junior WR/DB factored heavily into the Golden Bears’ first win of the season, 32-6 over Ridgefield. She broke a 66-yard touchdown run to finish with a season-high 87 yards on 5 carries, and she scored on a 16-yard pick-six to go along with 8 flag pulls.
