Jaguars make 4 roster moves; sign veteran RB, waive another
Following rookie minicamp, the Jaguars made four roster moves, including signing a veteran running back while waiving another.
The Jacksonville Jaguars announced four roster moves on Monday, following rookie minicamp. As was reported by ESPN , the Jaguars did sign veteran running back Ameer Abdullah. To make room for Abdullah at the running back position, Ja'Quinden Jackson was waived.
Jackson went undrafted in 2025 and spent last season on the Jaguars' practice squad. Jacksonville also re-signed offensive lineman Sal Wormley, who was just released last week. Wormley, a 2025 UDFA, was a practice squad player for the Jaguars last season.
Wormley takes the place of offensive lineman Jordan White, who was placed on the reserve/retired list. White was signed by the Jaguars following the 2026 NFL draft as an undrafted rookie. He did not participate in rookie minicamp.
