The NTT IndyCar Series competed at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course and it was a chaotic event. A multi-car accident on the first lap took multiple drivers and put them in the back with damage. Then, a timely caution put Alex Palou and Kyle Kirkwood on the wrong side of the strategy.
At the end of the day, a McLaren driver stole the show. Christian Lundgaard and the No. 7 team for McLaren won the Sonsio Grand Prix at the Indianapolis Road Course, earning their first victory of the 2026 IndyCar season.
