Fans can vote for their favorite athlete until Wednesday at 5 p. m. Nominees for Bronson Battle Creek Athlete of the Week Kobe Cordova Harper Creek Baseball Harper Creek held off Pennfield in the championship game with a 3-2 victory to win the 2026 All-City Baseball Tournament.
Kobe Cordova went 2-for-2 to lead Harper Creek with a run scored and an RBI in the win over Pennfield. Cordova also had the go-ahead RBI in the ninth inning in the 4-3 win over Lakeview in the semifinals. Layla Huffman Lakeview Girls Soccer Lakeview won the All-City Girls Soccer Tournament for the sixth straight season as the Spartans defeated Harper Creek 5-2 in the championship game.
Lakeview's Layla Huffman had two goals and an assist in the win. Kaylee Kirkpatrick Harper Creek Softball Harper Creek defeated Lakeview 9-8 to take the 2026 All-City Softball Tournament title, winning the championship game. The go-ahead blow came off the bat from the Beavers' Kaylee Kirkpatrick, who broke open a 6-6 tie game with a three-run home run in the bottom of the sixth inning to give Harper Creek a 9-6 lead.
