Ravens’ Teddye Buchanan offers encouraging update on rehab progress

Yahoo Sports

Ravens linebacker Teddye Buchanan believes his recovery process is progressing even better than expected as he works his way back from a torn ACL.

The Baltimore Ravens lost more than just a productive linebacker when Teddye Buchanan suffered a torn ACL late last season . They also lost one of the defense’s emerging young tone-setters, but if the youngster is discouraged by the setback, he certainly didn’t sound like it recently. When speaking to fans at M&T Bank Stadium on the first night of the NFL draft , he offered encouraging feedback about his recovery from an injury that prematurely ended an otherwise promising first NFL season.

According to the second-year defender, the rehab process is progressing exactly the way he hoped. Thank the Ravens' official team site for the quote . "The rehab process is going great.

(It's) right on schedule, if not ahead of schedule... I'm feeling healthy, getting back to doing things that I'm used to doing. Just taking it one day at a time, not trying to look too far forward, but I'm definitely feeling good about it.

" That statement alone should excite Ravens fans. That’s exactly the type of update they were hoping to hear. Buchanan quickly became one of Baltimore’s most important defensive contributors during his rookie season before the injury abruptly ended his campaign in December.
