Missouri running back Ahmad Hardy is in stable condition after sustaining a gunshot wound while at at concert Sunday, the team announced Monday. Hardy underwent surgery Sunday. The team said his timeline to return to football activities was โ€œunknown at this time.

Hardy, 20, is coming off a fantastic season with Missouri. As a sophomore, he rushed for a conference-high 1,649 yards. He also scored 16 rushing touchdowns.

It was Hardyโ€™s first season at Missouri. Prior to that, Hardy starred with Louisiana-Monroe as a freshman. In his one season with the team, Hardy rushed for 1,351 yards and 13 rushing touchdowns.
